Prices for hotels remain relatively inexpensive in Phnom Penh, even luxury establishments. Nowhere else is this more true than at Nagaworld 2 where rooms were going for only $41 per night at the time of this writing (booking.com). For that price you get a spacious room with a great view of the city and/or river and all the amenities one would expect in a luxury hotel. The room comes with a big comfortable bed, a work station area, a seating area with a couch and a big screen television. The WiFi is really strong in the room so need to worry about getting any work done or surfing the web on your down time.
Of course the amenities outside of the room are even more impressive. Not only are the rooms above the gaming floor with over 300 tables and 2,500 electronic games, but the facility is connected via an underground tunnel to the original Nagaworld where one can find just about every amenity imaginable. The gym is state of the art and open from 6:30 AM until 10:30 PM and in the second tower Nagaworld boasts the first rooftop pool ever built in the city of Phnom Penh. The poker room is of course also located in the original Nagaworld and spreads daily/nightly games of $1-$3, $2-$5 and $5-$10 no limit hold'em. Read the full review here:
Personally the highlight of Naga 2 is the 2Pangea Buffet which comes the closest to reminding this writer of Las Vegas and its decadent buffets. The restaurant has a wide variety of offerings of cuisines from all over the world. The main attractions are sections for seafood, sushi and the impressive carving station which on many nights includes an entire roasted pig!
You won't be too far from some of the best restaurants in town as Nagaworld boasts an impressive culinary lineup of offerings from Korea, Italy and China. Both Nagaworld and Naga 2 are great places to visit for anyone coming to Phnom Penh and offers great value for those looking for a luxury hotel stay in the capital city of Cambodia.
