While it may be a bit out from the town center, the Russian Market area is a great neighborhood filled with many fantastic hotels. And although many of these establishments rent rooms for $40-$50 per night, the Colina Boutique Hotel bucks this trend by charging only $25 per night at the time of this writing on booking.com. Do not be fooled by the word "boutique" in the name as the hotel as it rises high into the sky with plenty of rooms and a pool on the roof.
The room itself is very clean, modern and spacious. The bed is very plush and not too firm and the room comes with a big enough television mounted to the wall with a table and even a working station. The bathroom is also very spacious and designed in a modern style with a luxurious bath tub. Most rooms come with windows and if on a high enough floor, provides a good view of the Russian Market area.
Drinks are served at the pool but the hotel does not have a restaurant on the premises. But the hotel is surrounded by many great restaurants as this area is known for its many great eateries. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the cleaning staff work very hard to keep clean the beautiful decor of each room. The front desk is 24 hours with security round the clock. There is also a business center on the ground floor adjacent to the lobby where patrons can use for free a copier, printer and fax machine. The Russian Market area is a community in of itself and provides a great base from which to explore the entire city. Few, if any hotels, provide better value in this area than the Colina Boutique Hotel.
