Even though new tourists are not coming into Phnom Penh in this time of covid-19, there are still a considerable number of tourists who remain in the city and need accommodations. The Bridge Club is a hotel that nearly every poker player in town is familiar with. It provides great value as rooms are seldom more expensive than $35 per night and provides luxury accommodations for this low price. The Bridge is conveniently located near the major landmarks of Phnom Penh such as the Nagaworld Casino, the riverside and the best restaurants in the city. But one hardly has to leave the Bridge as it is almost a city in of itself. It has its own mall with shops, cafe, bakeries and restaurants. The highlight of the restaurants in the complex is Collin's on the 13th floor which serves as both a premier restaurant and a rooftop bar with a tremendous view of Phnom Penh.
The room itself is spacious and comes with every imaginable amenity; flat screen TV, a safe, desk/chair, refrigerator and a microwave. The cleaning staff is wonderful and keeps everything in an immaculate condition. There is free WiFi provided for each room and the connection is strong throughout the facility. The bathroom is a bit on the small side but that is perhaps the only minor drawback to a premier hotel experience. The highlight of the room is perhaps the wonderful view that the rooms provide. There is of course a pool and a fitness center on the premises to complete the experience. There is also a massage/sauna facility on site as the Bridge truly does offer every comfort, both in and outside of your hotel room. A free breakfast is provided for each guest as well.
As of the time of this writing rooms at the Bridge Club are going for as low as $33 per night. This price is in line with what a room was going for prior to things slowing down due to covid-19. The price has gone up slightly since their opening but has largely remained stable. Poker players love staying at the Bridge due to the value that they provide, but such goes for any visitor. Phnom Penh has many great hotels in this price range and below, but perhaps none offers a premium experience like the Bridge Club.
