I have known the owner of Roseanna Bar many years now as she has run several bars on the riverside throughout the years. She has always run a well managed bar with a young and friendly staff and this establishment is no different. The bar is on street 130 and is a new entry into the hostess bar scene of Phnom Penh. It is clean and spacious with a pool table and a fully stocked bar including fine wines. The bar also features a stage where the strength of the bar, namely their hostesses, really shine.
They open early in the afternoon and have many happy hour specials throughout the day and early evening. Their closing hours are 3:00 AM but will stay open for customers who wish to stay and drink.
The Roseanna Bar is having a special early Halloween party tonight on the 23rd of October. Be sure to drop by for the festivities and join in on the fun.

The latest entry into the nightlife bar scene of Phnom Penh is The Factory on street 104. Built over a building that previously housed a hotel, this bar is spacious with both a downstairs main area and a lounge upstairs. One can tell that much thought was put into the decor as The Factory presents its clientele with a unique look. The walls are lined with bricks and looks reminiscent of an old school private men's club, even boasting of a fire place. Everything from the floor tiles to the chairs all appear new and the bar overall is very clean and kept in great condition.
The upstairs lounge keeps the same theme and is a great place to hang out for large groups.
The hostesses themselves are young, friendly and attentive to all customers. There is no dress code for the staff but yet each lady present themselves in a manner that matches the classy environment of the bar. They mix it up well with different promotional events and the bar is known to show popular sporting events on their many television sets and stay open to accommodate customers who are sports fans. Although the establishment is new, drinks are reasonably priced and the bar is stocked with a full selection of liquors, beer and wine.
Street 104 is still a lively part of the Phnom Penh nightlife and The Factory is the latest entry to boost the status of this area in the overall landscape of the city.
So many bars, so little time
Whether you want a $0.50 beer or an exotic cocktail, Cambodia has it all. Drinking is a favorite past time in this country so expect to see reviews and photos from dozens, if not hundreds, of bars throughout the country. Of course then there are the bars not exactly known nor popular for their drinks ;)
