Poker Triad's Blog About Grinding Life, Love and Poker in Cambodia
I have lived and played poker in Cambodia now for over six years and have truly seen it all. From games run with barely any rules to those that cap their rake at over $100; from games that open and close within a week to those that cater to the richest clientele with nosebleed stakes; the poker scene here is truly a wasteland. While primarily a player, I made my name in the poker scene of Cambodia either managing or helping to run many of these games. Now largely retired from the live scene, I stay close to home by day grinding online and go out by night enjoying the epic nightlife of Phnom Penh with my friends and fellow poker players. The life I now lead is the culmination of much work and the fulfillment of everything I wanted it to be before I arrived. I previously lived in Las Vegas for five years and thought that was the pinnacle of my poker career and life. But I have since come to realize that life for me did not truly begin until that fateful day when I received the very first stamp on my passport and landed in the Kingdom of Wonder. This is my poker journey. Seats are open so come along for the ride.
